The Rust heatmap: where the players are
Rust Heatmap shows live player counts for every public Rust server, so you can see the busy regions, hours and days, and the quiet ones.
Players by region and by hour of the day
▲ hottest 17:00 · 97,734°▼ coolest 05:00 · 36,572°▮ now 15:00
Each tile is a region; its colour is the players on its servers now, on a square-root span from 0 to the hottest region (51,466 players), so the scale beside it reads in players. Unplaced is every server that publishes no region. The strip under it is the hours of the day, each hour's average over the last week on its own range from the coolest hour to the hottest. Questions
Q01What is a Rust heatmap?
A Rust heatmap is a map of measured activity rather than terrain. Rust Heatmap groups live player counts from every public server by region, hour and day, so the busy places and times stand out. The figures refresh every five minutes.
Q02Where is Rust busiest?
Q03How do I find a quiet Rust server?
Sort the server list by current players and look for low counts outside peak hours. Servers with a steady population and no queue are the most predictable. The heatmap shows which hours are quietest in your region.
Q04How often does the data update?
Player counts come from Steam's public server list and refresh every five minutes. Wipes are recorded within about five minutes of a server reporting a new world. No figure on the site is estimated or carried over from an older scan.
