What is a Rust tutorial server?

A Rust tutorial server is one that has Facepunch's new-player tutorial switched on. You begin on a separate island where you can practise gathering, crafting, building and cooking without interference from other players. When you finish, you join the main map with everyone else.

Do tutorial servers have the same rates as normal servers?

Yes. The tutorial only affects the starting experience; the server's gather rates, crafting speeds and other settings stay the same. Check the Tags column for rates like 2x or 5x.

How often do tutorial servers wipe?

They follow the same wipe schedule as any other Rust server. Most wipe monthly, but some wipe weekly or every two weeks. The Next wipe column shows the time until the next wipe.

Can I play with friends on a tutorial server?

The tutorial itself is single-player, but once you finish you join the main map and can team up. Check the Group column for the server's team limit; some servers allow only small groups.
